Figma - UI/UX Design

Susanaah Dodamni completed the Figma - UI/UX Design course, where she learned the full design process from the first idea to a finished, testable prototype. The course helped her understand not only how to use design tools, but also how to think like a designer and solve real problems for real users.

She began with UX fundamentals, including user research, interviews, personas, user journeys, user flows and information architecture. These lessons taught her how to understand what users need before designing anything, and how to turn those insights into clear wireframes for every screen.

She then moved on to Figma, working with frames, auto layout, constraints, components, variants, styles and shared libraries. She learned to keep her files organised, reuse elements efficiently and build simple design systems so that colours, typography and spacing stay consistent across every screen.

Using these skills, she designed responsive screens for mobile and web, paying close attention to layout, visual hierarchy, accessibility and usability. She also learned how to choose colours, fonts and icons that suit a product's purpose and make interfaces easy to read and navigate.

She built clickable prototypes with interactions, transitions and animations, so ideas could be tested before development begins. She also ran usability tests with real users, collected feedback and improved her designs through repeated rounds of changes.

Along the way, she practised presenting her design decisions and prepared handoff files so developers could build her screens accurately. Through hands-on practice, she built a design portfolio that shows her skills to employers and clients.
